IMAGINARY LINES
Imaginary Lines is a multi-faceted project that begins by engaging immigrant communities in creative storytelling and myth-making. Stories are being told here, like a caravan with many different people, coming from various locations, all with unique histories, drawn together to share the journey and for the common goal of reaching their destination.
Through a series of storytelling workshops, participants will explore the significance of the immigration journey, while sharing their own experiences of crossing the US/Mexico border. In addition to workshops and programming, Imaginary Lines will feature a short film and this website where online audiences can contribute to an archive of immigration stories. Imaginary Lines will begin its public presentation series starting in 2024.
